Bowling Updates....

Last Sat training is More on practice "Spares".. which is normally the 2nd shot in a frame...

Was taught to spare "poison Ivy" which is pin 3,6,7,10. "Poison Ivy in the Dark", pins 3.6.7.9.10. "Sleeper",Pin 6,9. and others, forget the name..

Some of the Spares isn't easy to catch the Points to Spare the shot..hence, was very PISS OFF...when i can't get it shot down, but when shot it, the feeling was so good.

Bowling Update.

I have learn Finish almost everything..Last Sunday, i went for the ITE ALUMI Bowling cause my friend short of a team mate so he ask me to go... we bowl total 3 games. My score was 180,164,210. Did Badly for my 2nd game cause seem like no Luck..got 2 time Spilts, which spoil the games. my position is 15 out of the 76 player after the 2nd game, 1st game i was 8 position, drop down 7 placing.last game i bowl the best with score of 210, but i don know my position as they didnt print the List out..but only the top 4 walk away with the trophy.. overall satify, cause i try my best already...

PD bowling Update




YEA....i'm the Top Scorer of the Week (3rd Jun)...i score 217 for my game Play..




I do better and better with the improve stroke and this boosted my passion for Bowling.. Heard from Coach that AUG, there will be a Tournament.. HAHA, going to "CHIONG" so can have a placing in the SCHOOL Team to represent NYP. With the constant improvement, i'm confident that i can score even better. THE Training was more on the THROW.. to get STRIKE More often.. to be constant. here is my ball, my game result and my video on 1 of my RELEASE.

PD Bowling Update..

Woa..another week have just pass, now is in the week 7. Time flies..As normal, now is for my blog update...................

This week training more of a balancing training... Donut Rings (stack of 3) was place on my head, when walking and b4 releasing of the throw, the ring shouldn't drop, it can only drop after u release the ball as ur hands swing forward. I passed it as i didn't have problem balancing. Next will be the body posture... the back should crouch forward as it isn't good for the back. the back should be straight when the ball is release...

Now is the gameS score....Woa sad..the Bowling President say Boys must score a min. of 150 points, those that fail will have to do 20 push-up. i scored 149.. Gosh, just 1 point... but because of the tedious training that i didn't have must energy left for the game play....

PD Bowling UPdate


Yea...the basic of the basic i have finally learnt FInish...Now is just trying to adapt to it...
k,for the 3rd lesson on Bowling, we learn the Power Stroke released. we bend our body down when at the 3rd footstep,use ur master hand to swing the ball back high, perpendicular to the front, so when it release, it just follow down, the release is more powerful and cause it follow down, not much force is needed. To do that, the most important will the the wrist support power, if wrist it not strong, can't swing the ball high..


My game score is 149...my Min. target for next training/game is 180.

PD goal Bowling.

My Bowling training is now Twice Weekly..Wed and Fri. because my eager to learn and the speed that i going,i have been asked to join the year 2 senior to do training together with them, year 2 senior are more PRO, also they are train to represent NYP in any kind of Tournament...I'll be getting my Own Bowling Ball Soon and hope that i will quickly catch up with the senior in term of skill and experience..

K back to the training.This week training was more on the Foot Work..I was taught the 3 Step walkin,the purpose of this is to train us to 'DELAY' the release of the Ball, so that the release will be following the mometum together with the body and footwork,so lesser energy will be used on the release. It called 'Modern Bowling'. The old method is using more force on the relasing,hence,wasting energy and get tired out fast.

PD..( new Sport learned, Bowling)

Last Friday was the 1st training for Bowling.We were being brief about the sport of bowling. After that we were brief on the Different Style of playing,such as throw a straight ball, Spinner and Stroker (curve or hook style). And we are in the ERA of Modern Bowling, this is wat the Coach Say,which is to reduce injuries and give the ball more power and better roll, so as to conserve energy.

After the brief session,we do warm up stretching. We form into Group of 4. then first we were taught the basic of bowling. We do the Bending down and Throw the ball. This is to get our hand to release the ball in a correct and safe manner. It isn't an easy job. We need to pose and the body must be straight so to reduce the risk of spraining the back. The Coach is very Strict so i didnt manage to take photo for the blog,and after training,i was exhausted. Arm and Leg Aching.

But i glad that i have learn the correct method of bowling,next time can play bowling with family and possible can teach my friends abt bowling....
